I wasn’t planning on these being such a hit, but wow – these Bang Bang Salmon Bites disappeared in minutes. I tossed them together for a casual weeknight dinner, and not only did my husband go back for thirds, but after I posted a photo, my friends were instantly DMing me for the recipe. They’re crispy, spicy, and kind of irresistible – definitely one of those “how is this so easy?” kind of meals.

Bang Bang Salmon Bites
Ingredients for Salmon
- 1 lb salmon, skin removed, cut into bite-sized cubes
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (or more, for pan frying)
Ingredients for Bang Bang Sauce:
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
- 1 teaspoon Sriracha (more if you like it spicy)
- 1 teaspoon honey (optional, but adds a nice touch)
Directions
- Prep the salmon: Pat your salmon dry and season lightly with salt and pepper. Toss each piece in cornstarch until fully coated.
- Pan-fry: Heat oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the salmon pieces in a single layer and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until crispy and golden. Work in batches if needed.
- Make the sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together mayo, sweet chili sauce, Sriracha, and honey until smooth.
- Toss & serve: Once the salmon is cooked, gently toss the bites in the Bang Bang sauce or serve it on the side for dipping.
- Optional garnishes: Sprinkle with sesame seeds or chopped green onions for a little extra flair.
