Hi, I’m Anastasia!

Welcome to my website—I’m so glad you’re here! If this is our first time meeting, here’s a little about me and how I ended up in this space.

For years, I felt pulled in different directions, chasing careers that didn’t quite fit while holding onto my biggest passion: food. I started off in marketing, worked with brands, managed Google Ads, handled social media—you name it. It paid the bills, sure, but it never lit me up.

The kitchen always did!

I’ve always loved cooking. Growing up in a Greek family, food was at the center of everything—holidays, weeknights, random drop-ins from family. I’ve always loved making meals for the people I care about, throwing together cozy dinners, and creating small, special moments around the table.

Now, I’m a full-time teacher by day, and a home cook/content creator by night. I spend my days with second graders, and my evenings in the kitchen, cooking for myself, my Kansas-born husband, and sharing recipes I think everyone will love. I’m not a chef, and I don’t pretend to be—just someone who loves food and knows the value of a simple, satisfying meal after a long day.

I didn’t want to work in a restaurant or go to culinary school. I wanted to create real food for real people, share the process, and inspire others to do the same. So I kept going, kept posting, and slowly, this corner of the internet turned into something more.

Here, I share recipes that fit into busy lives—whether you’re teaching, parenting, working, or just trying to get dinner on the table. I mix in a little Greek tradition, my newly learned midwest/American traditions, a little creativity, and a lot of love. I also share hosting tips, favorite finds, and glimpses of life along the way.

So grab a seat—there’s always room for more at the table!
